Dear Parents,

We are drawing our Pre-School year to a close with a variety of activities. We will be finishing up the abc and number booklets that the children made. We will continue working on our weekly readers. The  children will also be tested for their final report card. Please visit the K-12 website, click on my name which brings you to the homepage and then click on the blog link. We will have a list of items that are needed to be brought in for our reception.

Here are some important upcoming dates: 

* May 28th - we will be in need of at least 6 to 8 volunteer moms to clean up our  room for the summer. Please send in only a snack with  a juice  box. The adults who volunteer to help clean will have pizza with the children. 

* May 31st - NO SCHOOL - Memorial Day

* June 1st - Pre-School End Of The Year Program will be approximately from 9:00-10:00 A.M. We will have a reception immediately following the program. By now you should have received the invitation your child made for you. Please have your child wear dressy hawaiian theme clothing. The children will need to come to school at the regular time, however, they will be going home with you following the reception. Parents, please meet us in the Fr. Cahill Parish Life Center at 9:00 A.M. The center is located on the north end of the school building. A DVD will be made for each family of your child's memories made during his/her preschool year. Please be sure to come to the picnic to pick up the DVD coutesy of Maribel Razo.

*  June 2nd - All preschool children are invited to stay in school until 2:00 P.M. The children are to dress down and come to school accompanied by an adult family member until 11:30 (lunchtime). We will be having hot dogs, chips and juice boxes. If your child does not like hot dogs, please send in a lunch. At 11:30 the children are to come back to the classroom for lunch followed by a movie and some indoor games. I will give out the DVD's when you come to pick up your child at 2:00 P.M.
