Dear Parents,

Hello!  Welcome to second grade!  I am looking forward to a wonderful year with the children.  It will be an exciting time for all of them.

I want to thank you in advance for taking the time to read and sign all the notes that will be going home the first few weeks of school.  Communication is very important.

Here is a note about the assignment notebooks.  Please sign the bottom of the page every night, and check to make sure that the homework is done neatly and completely.

All second grade hard cover books will need to have a cover on them by Friday, August 29th.

If at any time during the school year you find a need to talk to me please fell free to contact me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.  To reach me, you can write me a note or call the office and leave me a message.  You can also send me an e-mail from our class homepage--just log onto stgeorgeschool.org scroll down to the K12Web Teacher Websites, and click on my name to access our homepage.  On the homepage, click on the Parent tab, and fill out the Contact Me Form to send an e-mail.  Good communication between parent and teacher is equally as important to a great school year as is good communication between teacher and child.  I will be happy to hear from you.
