Smile Welcome to My Website Smile

Hello Parents,

As we begin the last trimester of this school year the children need to be reminded that they still need to focus on their school work. As the weather gets warmer, it maybe hard for them, but please do your best to keep them on track.

I have been noticing that some children are starting to turn in careless work. They are writing "phrases" rather than complete sentences. Sometimes I don't even see any kind of punctuation in sentences that they do write. This is a skill that should be mastered in third grade.

Now on an up beat note. I hope that you enjoyed the classbook that was published. The children worked really hard on writing their stories, illustrating it and learning to write with a pen. The pen writing was a challenge for some of them. I'm very proud of all of them and you should be too.

Please don't forget that Thursday, March 18th Teacher Conference. The conferences are held at the request of either the teacher or parent. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you then. Have a great week!

                                          Sincerely,

                                          Mrs. Mraz
