 USE P.A.R.T. CERTIFICATES!!!!
Contact me at leelabriol@aol.com or llabriola@stgeorge.org Hello and Welcome to Week Thirteen of Second Grade! Our feast is this Wednesday! It should be a wonderful experience for the children. Come if you can! We have been working on money for a few weeks now. Many children are having trouble counting coins and making change. Please give your child many opportunities to count change at home. Please keep working on those math flash cards, also. Also, help with homework when needed. Have your child do as much as possible, then check it over. Ask questions. Read to your child. Have your child read to you. Just read wherever and whenever! Remember to use P.A.R.T. certificates. Everyone benefits! It's a win/win situation! Be creative, and buy them for whatever stores, restaurants, or gas stations you will be using. Please read all papers and notes that are sent home. Also check the assignment notebooks each night for homework assignments and other important information. Check back here weekly for updates. For your information, past assignments are available to you by clicking on the most recently "colored" date on the calendar to the left. Then click on "second grade." Also, click on "parents" (on the top) for announcements and events. You can ask me a question or offer a comment here also.
