NOTE: This assignment will be graded. If you cannot take it seriously, you will receive zero credit. This can give some of you a chance to do better in Computer Class. THIS ASSIGMENT MUST BE AT LEAST 2 PARAGRAPHS.

To compete with eachother for enrollment, Catholic High Schools create entire recruitment campaigns to advertise the benefits of going to a particular school. For our video project, we will be creating an advertising video of St. George. These recruitment videos contain information on the school such as the school history, number of students, extra curricular offered, activities, etc.

Your job is to research Catholic High School and College websites, and see what their recruitment tactics are. What are some of the things that these schools focus on? As a student, what would make you want to go to a particular school? What are St. George's best qualities? What features of the high school videos did you like (ie music, editing, student interviews, etc.)? What ideas do you have for the St. George video that you would like to share with the class?

(Comments)

Technology has led to the discovery of vaccines and medical treatments. It has brought computers and telvisions into people's homes, and it has provided us with electricity, the Internet, phones, cars, planes and much more. But an arguement can be made that technology has largely worsened the quality of our lives, polluting the air, making our lives needlessly stressful, and dampening our enthusiasm for books and newspapers.

If you had to give up one technological advantage that you use all the time, what would it be? Do you think you would be better off without it?

(Comments)
