10 Ways To Help Your Child With A Science Project

1. Provide a special place where your child can work on his/her project. This place should be away from distractions.

2. Help your child gather the necessary materials that will be needed to complete the project.

3. Make sure your child takes the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the project.

4. Provide transportation to libraries where your child can research the necessary information.

5. Assist your child in developing a schedule or timeline to ensure the project is completed on time.

6. Help your child with elements of the project that may be difficult, such as measuring or organizing.

7. Encourage and praise. Take interest in your child's project.

8. Make sure that your child's project is his/her own work. You should provide assistance and encouragement, but the project must be your child's effort.

9. Remember: the true reward of the project is demonstrated in the knowledge and skills learned by your child, not the awards presented by the judges.

10. Contact me if you have questions regarding the project.
